Why yes. Yes he is gunning for his mentor's job. He's also one of the most clothed individuals in the known universe (Xenomesh bodysuit AND a carapace chestplate!). He spent a session in a Mechanicus prison wearing nothing but coveralls and slippers once. He felt positively naked.
