I dropped Ozzy off at the surgeon's this morning He knew something was wrong, he was shaking when I handed him to the vet tech and kept reaching for me with his little paws. They couldn't tell me what time the surgery was since the surgeon does them all day today, so I guess I'll just call them obsessively.

Depending on how he does I may be able to pick him up tomorrow, or I may have to wait until Saturday I left him one of my t-shirts to snuggle with, but the though of leaving him alone all that time breaks my heart.

Ozzy's surgery is tomorrow morning and I'm starting to freak out I hate to put my baby through all that pain, and I'm scared to death that something is going to happen to him.

Well, dammit. Here's my sob story. If you wanna skip it and get to the commission info, start reading at the ***s.

My sweet precious puggy Ozzy has been having leg problems for about a month now. He has a metal plate and four screws in his rear left leg, and at first I thought it was just another case of osteomyelitis (bone infection). After a round of antibiotics, though, he didn't bounce back like he usually did and started getting weeping sores on his little leg. My vet referred us to an orthopedic surgeon, and we went there today.

Unfortunately, it looks like Ozzy needs to have surgery to have the plate removed. The doctor wanted to schedule it for tomorrow (!) but I put him off until after Mardi Gras. It's scheduled for February 7. The estimated cost is two thousand dollars.

So what follows is a pathetic attempt to raise some money for this. I'm also going to be selling off whatever isn't nailed down on e-bay.

I am of the opinion that if you charge for a hobby, then it becomes work and something that you do because you HAVE to instead of something you do because you WANT to. So I won't be doing this forever IF there's something you want that isn't listed, lemme know and we can work something out.

I'm also thinking about printing up some greeting cards and I thought the Love Pug would make a good valentine. If anyone would be interested, let me know.
